University Hospital staff tells KRCG News Davon Davis has died after injuries sustained from a Monday accident when Davis was hit by a pickup truck.

A Jefferson City pedestrian is in critical condition after he was hit by a pickup truck.

Davon Davis, 18, was walking when he was struck by the pickup in the 1500 block of U.S. 54 West at around 3:30 a.m.

Davis was transported to University Hospital for further treatment.

The Jefferson City Police Department is still investigating the accident.
