OZARK, MO. -- A woman is killed in Ozark, Mo. and the suspect takes his own life.

Police said Stephanie Regan called the Christian County Sheriff's Department Monday night and said she had been shot numerous times in her home.

When police arrived at the scene, they found her found her dead in the kitchen.

KYTV reported that the suspect, Regan’s son-in-law, took his own life after police chase into Webster County.

Regan was a long-time board member of the Ozark Fire Protection District.
