Robbery gone wrong convict sentenced

COLE COUNTY, MO. -- After being convicted of second degree murder during a fatal home invasion, Daniel Hynson was sentenced Wednesday to 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Hynson, of Jefferson City, was part of the Oct. 5, 2009 robbery in Apache Flats, which resulted in the death of one of his accomplices (Read more). Hynson planned to rob the occupants of the home for over $40,000. He recruited seven other people from the Kansas City area to help him.

The accomplice was shot by one of the occupants of the home as the suspects ran away (Read more).
