COLUMBIA, MO. -- Construction of the new terminal railroad bridge over Highway 63 in North Columbia will begin its steel installation phase this week.
Highway 63 and the entrance and exit ramps to State Route B will be periodically closed and restricted while the steel bridge is being installed. The steel erection phase should last four to five weeks and should be completely done by mid-July.
The construction will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. to help minimize the impact on motorists.
