Harrisonville gets hit by tornado

(AP) -- HARRISONVILLE, Mo. (AP) -- The National Weather Service says damage to buildings in the western Missouri community of Harrisonville was caused by a tornado.

It hit the south side of the town Tuesday, damaging a church, a business and some trees.
