OZARK, Mo. (AP) -- A southwest Missouri couple was arrested after authorities said they found a sophisticated marijuana-growing operation in the attic of a company that sells playground equipment.
Christian County Sheriff Joey Kyle said about 50 marijuana plants were found Thursday in the attic of Ozark Mountain Playgrounds. He saif the growers had installed air-conditioning and partitioned young plants from mature plants. And Kyle said it appeared the marijuana was being grown to sell.
The Springfield News-Leader reports that it was not clear how the couple was associated with the company.
