ST. LOUIS -- Census workers will start going door to door Saturday, trying to count residents who did not mail in their census forms.
St. Louis officials are urging residents to be counted because only 67 percent of St. Louis residents mailed back a survey, which is below the national average of 72 percent.
Census workers will carry identification.
The law allows them to visit the same residence up to six times to get the information.
After that they will ask neighbors and the landlord the questions.
