Anthony President pleads guilty to 1st degree robbery
JEFFERSON CITY (AP) -- A Kansas City man has pleaded guilty to first-degree robbery after a botched robbery in which one of the suspects was killed.
The Jefferson City News Tribune reported that 17-year-old Anthony President pleaded guilty Monday. He is scheduled to be sentenced in late July.
President was one of eight people charged after an Oct. 5 robbery attempt at a mobile home in Jefferson City. A 19-year-old suspect died after he was shot in the face by someone in the mobile home.
In January, the Cole County prosecutor dropped charges of second-degree murder and armed criminal action against President.
