KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The FBI's Kansas City division has created a new Web site designed to help nab bank robbers in Kansas and western Missouri.

Profiles and pictures of bank robbers will be posted on www.bandittrackerkansascity.com -- and the public can use the site to provide confidential information.

The FBI says there have been 400 bank robberies during the past five years in the Kansas City division, which covers all of Kansas and the western half of Missouri.

Special agent Brian Truchon says bank robbers are becoming more sophisticated, so law enforcement needs to improve its technical capabilities, as well.
