PETTIS COUNTY -- Update: 1 p.m.

The car crash that caused Route 50 to close has been cleared and the road is now open.

No delays are expected.

Original Story:

A car crash has closed U.S. Route 50 near Route W in Pettis County.

Emergency crews were on the scene after the crash was reported at 7:48 a.m. Delays are expected to last until 11:48 a.m.

Traffic should avoid the area.
