JEFFERSON CITY -- A three vehicle accident in Jefferson City caused moderate injuries yesterday.

Police say Joseph Kleene, 83, ran a red light on Dix Road at Industrial Drive.

His car first hit a minivan, then hit another car.

That car ran into a curb and overturned, throwing a passenger out the back window.

All three teenage girls in the car were taken to the hospital,  two have moderate injuries.

Kleene suffered minor injuries.

No one in the minivan was hurt.
