HALLSVILLE, MO. -- The Hallsville Post Office is closed after a woman ran her SUV into the side of the building.
Connie Hickman, 64, of Hallsville was pulling into the post office's parking lot when her foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas, according to police.
The Ford Explorer crashed into the sided of the building leaving a small hole and damaging the inside.
A post office employee and a customer were inside at the time but were not hurt.
The store remained closed Wednesday but may reopen tomorrow.
