Three murder for hire suspects in court today

PHELPS COUNTY -- The last of three Phelps County residents convicted of murder for hire will be sentenced today in federal court.

Todd Busque of Newburg and Roy and Elsie Cameron of Rolla, pled guilty to federal charges. They were sentenced Dec. 29.

Court documents show between March and July of 2009,  the three conspired to killing two witnesses set to testify against another man in a meth distribution case.

They were each charged with one felony count of conspiracy to commit murder for hire.

Each faces a possible maximum 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
