Drive by shooting leads to arrest

JEFFERSON CITY -- Jefferson City Police have arrested a someone after an alleged drive by shooting in the city early Sunday morning.

Police say the suspect fired several shots into a residence in the 600 block of Linn Street.

The suspect was arrested shortly after the shots fired call and is being held in the Cole County Jail.

Police add that a stolen gun was found when police searched the suspects home.
