LEBANON, Mo. (AP) -- The Laclede County Sheriff's Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol are investigating the deaths of a woman and a young boy.

Law enforcement officers found the victims early Friday at a home north of Lebanon, but investigators think they were killed Thursday night.

Law enforcement officers say the boy was a fifth-grade student at Boswell School.
