Columbia man arrested for assault with knife

COLUMBIA -- A Columbia man is behind bars this morning after injuring another man with knife.

The Boone County Sheriff's Department says Paul Powell, 48, pulled out a small pocket knife during a conflict.

The 42-year-old victim sustained small injuries.

Powell was arrested for second-degree assault, unlawful use of weapon and armed criminal action.

His bond is $9,000.
