AUDRAIN COUNTY, MO. -- Another person has been charged with the murder of an Ohio man whose body was found in a tractor trailer in Vandalia last week.
Angela Dawn Harvey, 34, of Laddonia has been charged with the first degree murder of James William Boyd McNeely in the basement of her home, kidnapping and two counts of armed criminal action.
McNeely’s body was discovered by deputies of the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office in a refrigerated trailer of a tractor/trailer unit on the morning of Dec. 22.
According to the probable cause statement, Harvey said she, her husband and another man talked by phone Dec. 16 about ensuring McNeely wouldn't come back to harm them.
Angela Harvey said she kicked and threatened McNeely and instructed her husband how to suffocate him and wrap the body to minimize evidence.
Chester Clay Harvey Jr., 38, and Chad Michael Harvey, 19, remain in custody at the Audrain County Jail. Two juveniles ages 16 and 14 are also being detained in connection to the murder of James William Boyd McNeely.
Angela Dawn Harvey is the spouse of Chester Clay Harvey.
Wednesday, police charged an additional three people in connection to McNeely’s murder.
Robert Nicholas Allen, 52, of Vandalia, Jackie Don Moss, 44, of Vandalia, and Darrill Kirtley Lynn, 45, of Farber are charged with kidnapping James William Boyd McNeely, 20, of Ohio.
