From e-mails to telephone calls, volunteers at the "Norad Tracks Santa" headquarters in Colorado Springs have spent the day answering questions from kids about everything from the weather on Christmas Eve to what they can expect to get for Christmas.

Kids, from as far away as Japan and Australia, called in early this Christmas Eve morning.

The North American aerospace defense command has tracked the movements of Santa Claus on his most important night every year since 1955.
