Fire Marshal reminds people to be safe during the holidays

Missouri Fire Marshal is reminding everyone to use caution with candles as they celebrate the holidays.

The US Fire Administration said December is the peak time of the year for home candle fires.

Missouri Fire Marshal Randy Cole said people should not use real candles as part of their holiday decorations, and should not leave Christmas Tree Lights on unattended.
