HOLTS SUMMIT -- Police are looking for a teenager who held up the Casey's General Store in Holts Summit. Officials believe he is a local in the area.

The suspect is described as a thin built Caucasian teen at about 5’5”. He wore a black bandana that covered his face and a black jacket.

Police said the suspect entered store with a black semi-automatic handgun just after 8 p.m. Sunday night.

After the suspect fled on foot, police combed the fields near the Casey's on Old Highway 54. Authorities tracked footsteps in the mud and found a change wrapper.

The two employees who were on duty at the time said the robbery happened within a minute and they do have surveillance video.

The suspect took the cash register drawer. Officials are not sure how much money he made out with.

The store is open for business today.

If you have any information, you're asked to call the Holts Summit Police Department at 573-896-4678.
