HOLTS SUMMIT --
Just after 8 p.m. Sunday, a man entered the Casey's General Store on Old Highway 54 just inside the Holts Summit city limits, showed the clerk a gun, and demanded money.
The suspect is described as a white male teenager, aout six-foot tall with a thin build. He had a black bandana covering his face and was wearing a black jacket.
Holts Summit Police Chief Kyle McIntyre said the suspect took the entire cash register drawer, but the Casey's clerk cannot verify exactly how much money was in the drawer at the time.
McIntyre says the gun shown was a black semi-automatic weapon.
The clerk does not know if the robber left on foot or in a vehicle.
McIntyre says his officers have followed up on several leads and possible sightings, but none have panned out.
