JEFFERSON CITY -- There's still two weeks until Christmas and you'll find plenty of trees at one Jefferson City Boy Scout tree lot.

Pack 4 from St. Peter’s School in Jefferson City is selling trees as a fundraiser for their group.

The tree lot's in the parking lot of Schulte’s off Route C.

The proceeds help the scouts do fun activities throughout the year.

"The money's gonna go to help pay off for fun stuff like camps and parties,” said Samuel Denson, scout.

"They're really big this year ‘cause of all the rain,” said Gideon Denson, scout.

The group plans to discount the remaining trees the week of Christmas and whatever isn't sold could possibly be donated to area needy.
