FULTON, MO. -- A Fulton man is in the Callaway County Jail today for leading police on a chase through the city early this morning.
Brian Weaver, 31, was arrested just after 3 a.m.
Police said they found him fleeing the area of a possible burglary near St Louis Road and Lane Street with his vehicle's headlights off.
The officer pursued the vehicle until it blew its transmission near Wood and St. Eunice Road near Fulton High School.
Weaver is facing DWI charges as a prior offender, driving while revoked, resisting arrest as well as property damage for hitting a Fulton police car.
