Investigators say a small kitchen fire on Whitney Woods Drive in Jefferson City was quickly put out yesterday.
Another case of unattended cooking was cause for a house fire in Columbia Friday night on East Ash Street.
Crews put out smoke and flames coming from the rear of the home. The damage was much more severe totaling $10,000.
