COLE COUNTY -- Another H1N1 clinic is scheduled for priority groups in Cole County tomorrow.

The health department says people between six months and 24-years-old and people between 25 and 64-years-old with chronic medical conditions can get the vaccine. That's including people from previous priority groups.

The clinic will happen from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Russellville High School. The health department will have another 900 shots to give out then.

The priority groups are generally the ones eligible for the shot everywhere, as of right now. Members of the general public in Cole County will be able to get a swine flu vaccine sometime next month.

Doctors at Lake Regional Hospital are offering flu advice this morning; they say the number of patients treated for flu-like symptoms there has been on the rise.

Doctors there are encouraging people to get the H1N1 vaccine and the seasonal flu shot. They say it will take some time before the general public can begin receiving doses of the H1N1 vaccine by injection.

Each Friday next month, injection vaccines will be available at the Camden County Health Department. You don’t need to make an appointment.
