OSAGE COUNTY -- The Osage County Sheriff’s department recovered a stolen vehicle, several thousand dollars worth of tools, meth and a large supply of pseudoephederine (substance used in making meth).
The authorities arrested Aaron Michael Lewis, 27, in connection to the investigation.
The deputies were acting on a tip when they searched two storage units in a residence in Loose Creek, Mo. where police found 2004 Ford F150 reported stolen out of Illinois on Aug. 31, 2009, and tools, including chain saws, rims, torches, a motorized go-cart, and many other tools, which ahve been reported stolen from several different counties in the mid-Missouri area
After further investigation, police where led to a residence on Highway 50 in Osage County, where they found the drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Lewis faces charges for receiving a stolen vehicle, meth possession and other drug related charges. Lewis is in custody pending the filing of formal charges.
