TROY, MO. (AP) -- The trial of an eastern Missouri teenager charged with selling prescription drugs on a school bus was to have gone begun this week, but was delayed so he could undergo a mental evaluation.
Nineteen-year-old Billy Lee Williams of Foley was charged on October 2007 with distribution of drugs near a school and possession of marijuana. Police say Williams had sold the prescription drug Adderall on at least four occasions on a school bus in Lincoln County.
The drug is mainly used for treatment of patients with attention deficit disorder.
No trial date will be set until after the mental exams are completed. The charges carry sentences of 10 years to life in prison.
