MILLER COUNTY -- UPDATE: The Missouri State Highway Patrol has determined that Jensen's death was suicide and not suspicious.

Miller County Inmate.

Members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control said they are investigating the death of 22-year-old James Jensen, from Eldon.

Jenson, an inmate at the Miller County Jail, was found hanging in his jail cell on Monday, January 28.

Jenson was taken to University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, where he was later pronounced dead.

The Boone County medical examiner determined the cause of death to be asphyxiation.
