Hallsville school board members are hoping a third time is a charm.

School leaders are considering another ballot issue to improve their district’s infrastructure.

Hallsville voters have recently rejected two similar proposals that involved bond issues worth more than $4 million.

This time, board members presented a ten-year plan that would pay for a new central office, a new auditorium, a new high school parking lot and a multipurpose training facility.

School Superintendent John Robertson said dozens of Hallsville residents gave their input during last night’s three hour meeting.

School board members do not know when they will decide on a bond issue proposal.
