In anticipation of the impending snowstorm, Columbia city offices will be closed Tuesday and no transit services will run, including Fixed Route, FastCat, Paratransit, Black and Gold routes and Tiger Line campus shuttles.

Trash and recycling will not be collected, delaying service one day for the remainder of the week.

The city is encouraging residents to park vehicles in driveways if possible. Vehicles abandoned in roadways will be towed at the owner's expense. If you get stuck and call for a tow truck, ask for a price up-front – if you feel you're being price gouged, call the Missouri Attorney General’s hotline at 1-800-392-8222.

For non-emergency assistance and non-injury accidents, call the Public Safety Joint Communications non-emergency line at (573) 442-6131.

Customers may contact Public Works concerning snow removal issues at:

Phone -- (573) 8784-6280 (staffed 24 hours until further notice)
Email -- pubw@GoColumbiaMo.com
Facebook -- Facebook.com/columbiamissouripublicworks
Twitter -- @pub_works

All city meetings scheduled for Tuesday will be postponed.

All municipal court cases scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday will be rescheduled.

If you are ticketed for travel on Tuesday at Columbia Regional Airport, you are encouraged to contact your flight carrier for up-to-the-minute flight status or check www.flymidmo.com.

Though administrative offices for both the police and fire departments will be closed tomorrow, all other emergency services will be available.

The Activity & Recreation Center (ARC) will also be closed Tuesday.
