Three Jefferson City residents were arrested Friday, the result of an outstanding warrants investigation by the Jefferson City Police Department's Community Action Team.

All three – 20-year-old Laquietta Grant, 22-year-old Antonio Banks and 23-year-old Jacqueline McIntosh – were taken to the Cole County Jail for processing.

When officers searched the 1100 block of Buena Vista, they made contact with Grant, who had eight warrants out for her arrest.

Officers then found Banks in a bedroom and noticed the smell of marijuana. After securing the apartment and getting a search warrant, they found 12 baggies of packaged marijuana in a coat belonging to Banks, who they learned is a felon. Banks also had a firearm in his backpack.

McIntosh, who had two warrants out for her arrest, was found hiding inside a large trash bag in a closet.

Grant's eight warrants were made up of three municipal warrants and five state warrants, and McIntosh had one state warrant and one municipal warrant. Banks was arrested for possession of marijuana under 35 grams, for possession with intent to distribute and for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
