COLUMBIA, MO -- No one was hurt when a car crashed into a Columbia business Friday morning.

Police said around 10:30 a.m., a Mercedes-Benz crashed into Going Bonkers, a restaurant and indoor playground located in the 3800 hundred block of Buttonwood Drive.

Emergency crews had to get the driver out of the car. Both the driver and the passenger -- a grandmother and her grandson -- were wearing their seatbelts.

Police said the female driver may have suffered a medical emergency at the time of the wreck, although the official cause is still under investigation.

The business was open at the time and there were customers inside, including field trips. Going Bonkers managers said the crash did not disrupt business operations.

A construction crew was called in to evaulate the building. They gave the green light for the business to stay open, while another crew patches up the hole in the wall.
