Three men have been arrested for burglary in Phelps County.

Two brothers from Rolla, 21-year-old David Ridenhower and 19-year-old Tyler Ridenhower, are in the Phelps County Jail, along with 23-year-old Jack Henson of Newberg. All three face charges for first- or second-degree burglary.

Authorities learned of a burglary in the 19000 block of State Route P in Newburg on Jan. 23. A handgun, cameras, jewelry, money and other items, with a total value of more than $6,000, were taken while the homeowners were at work.

Investigators later figured out that other residences in the area had also been robbed. They also learned that one homeowner had seen one of the thieves.

Much of the stolen property was found and returned. More charges may be added as the investigation continues.
