The trial for a Jefferson City man accused of murder has been set for April.

David Hosier is charged with two counts of murder from the 2009 shooting death of Rodney and Angela Gilpin.

Attorneys will hold pre-trial jury selection in Cass County after an unsuccessful attempt this week to fill a 39 panel jury in Clay County.

A number of counties were considered for the pre-trial relocation. Court room size and distance from heavy media exposure were noted in the process.

The jury selection is expected to take three days and set to begin on April 17th. Attorneys will nearly double the number of people considered for the 39 juror roles because the 125 considred in Clay County didn't prove to be enough.

The trial is set to begin Monday April 22nd.
