The Golden Corral in Columbia was evacuated Monday afternoon after an anonymous bomb threat was called in to the restaurant.

Police were dispatched at about 3:15 p.m. to 3421 Clark Lane. Upon their arrival, the restaurant's management decided to evacuate the building. Management then worked with officers to check for any suspicious packages or devices, none of which were found.

As a precaution, officers stayed on scene while a bomb detection K-9 went through the business and parking lot.
