COLUMBIA -- A man is facing multiple charges after allegedly robbing a Columbia Breaktime Wednesday night.
Police said at about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, 22-year-old Chadwick Simmons walked behind the counter at the Nebraska Avenue store, implied he had a weapon and demanded money.
He then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Two witnesses that were parked in a car outside reported the robbery and followed Simmons while keeping law enforcement updated on his location.
After a short foot pursuit Simmons was taken into custody and arrested for first-degree robbery and resisting or interfering with arrest.
