An Auvasse man is being held in Callaway County Jail today on multiple stalking-related charges.

Darrin Smithee was arrested on Tuesday night on three counts of violation of an order of protection, a class D felony, and one count of aggravated stalking.

Authorities say Smithee allegedly contacted the female victim via text message, written letter and telephone, depite an order of protection prohibiting the contact.

Smithee is currently on probation for violating another order of protection for a different woman. He served time in the Missouri Department of Corrections for that offense.

Smithee is being held on $29,500 cash-only bond.
