COLUMBIA -- A convicted felon charged with shooting three in Columbia in September was arrested Tuesday by Kansas City police officers and Federal Bureau of Investigation agents.
Authorities arrested Christopher Brown, 27, at a home in Kansas City.
The arrest comes after Boone County sheriff’s deputies found a man, 24, and woman, 22, with gunshot wounds in the 5900-block of Gregory Drive on September 22.
Later that day officers found a third victim, a 27-year-old man, with gunshot wounds setting in a parked vehicle on Lawnridge Drive.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release “all three victims have since been released from the hospital and are recovering from their wounds. The incident is believed to be the result of a domestic disturbance between associates of the suspect and the victims.”
Brown was taken to the Jackson County Jail and is expected to be transported back to Boone County within the next few days.
