They are charged for the murder of a 3-year-old boy
Charges have been upgraded to first degree murder for a Stover couple.
Jamie Litton and boyfriend Thomas Presley are charged in the beating death of Litton’s 3-year-old son, Blake.
Presley is accused of beating the boy and driving him to see Litton at work last February. Police say Litton did not seek medical help.
Presley later faked a hit and run accident and said that's how Blake died.
Both had been charged with second degree murder and child abuse. The new first degree murder charges come with a request for $1 million bond each.
