A 40-year-old man is in jail today facing multiple drug-related charges.

Charles Picton, of Mexico, was arrested yesterday after officers searched his home and found several packages of marijuana ready for distribution along with trace amounts of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a 30.06 calibur rifle.

Picton was charged with distribution of marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful use of a weapon.

Picton is being held at Audrain County jail without bond.
