Two restaurants temporarily closed in the Columbia Mall food court for food safety violations, have closed again, this time they are getting new management. Famous Cajun Grill and Stir Fry 88 were shuttered October 8th after a customer complained about finding roaches in the strawberry chicken.

The Boone County Health Department found 38 food code violations including 19 listed as critical. The two restaurants are side by side and share the same management.  After the closure for health code violations the restaurants were re-inspected and re-opened.

Management at Columbia Mall could not say how long this closure will last and when the restaurants will re-open.
