Late night house fire in Columbia

Around 9 o'clock Friday night, Columbia firefighters were called to a house fire in the 16-hundred block of Parklawn court in the Parkade subdivision.

Emergency crews took a man with life-threatening injuries and a woman to University Hospital.

Fire investigators say an electrical malfunction started the fire in a bedroom.

They estimate the damage at about $60,000.
