MARSHFIELD, Mo. (AP) -- A former teacher and baseball coach at a southwest Missouri high school faces up to eight years in prison for molesting three boys on his team.

37-year-old Darren Rose pleaded guilty Tuesday to two charges of child molestation. A third charge was dropped in exchange for the plea.

Prosecutors say Rose invited three boys on his team for overnight stays at his house in 2009. The players told investigators that he fondled them while they were in bed.

Webster County prosecutors agreed to ask for no more than an eight-year prison sentence when Rose is sentenced in mid-November.
