MARIES COUNTY -- A belle couple was arrested early Tuesday morning after a drug bust in Maries County.

Members of the Maries County Sheriff's Office and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group executed a search warrant in the 10-thousand-block of Maries County Road 320.

Investigators found what they thought was meth and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies arrested 38-year-old David Adair and 22-year-old Ashley Buchmiller.

Adair is a 12-time convicted felon and was out on bond for drug violations.

Deputies said it's the third time they've made arrests at the residence over the past five weeks.

Charges against Adair and Buchmiller are expected to be filed Tuesday afternoon.
