Police looking for Columbia Employee Credit Union robber

A man robbed the Columbia Employee Credit Union on Monday afternoon.

At 1:14 p.m., while the robbery was taking place, officers were dispatched to the scene at 310 E. Walnut Street.

The investigation revealed a black male entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect left the bank on foot heading northbound with an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was displayed and no one was injured during the robbery.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: A Black Male, 6’0, 150 lbs, 40 to 45 years old last seen wearing a sweater vest and hat.
