PULASKI COUNTY -- Pulaski County Deputies arrested a wanted man Sunday.

Several people called the sheriff’s office to report suspicious activity on Creek Road in the Dixon area.

Callers said there was an older model car parked on the street with a woman lying beside it and said there was a man nearby acting strangely.

When deputies got to the scene, Brian Pratt, 26, ran into the woods.

A short time later, deputies found Pratt, who had an active felony warrant from the county for possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities said the woman on the ground was under the influence of a controlled substance.

They also said she had a spoon that still had a small amount of what authorities believe was heroin on it.

Both Pratt and the woman were checked by medics before being taken to the Pulaski County Jail.

The woman was booked and released pending results of a lab test on the substance on the spoon.

The St. Robert man posted a $5,000 bond on the warrant and was released.
