Elks Lodge celebrates Flag Day early to honor veterans

The Elks Lodge in Jefferson City celebrated Flag Day on Saturday in honor of those who have served in our nation's wars.

They held a flag ceremony with several veterans on-hand to witness the addition of a new flag to the lodge, as well as a patriotic address by a Vietnam veteran.

Although flag day is actually next Thursday, the lodge said Saturday was the best time to get everyone together for the ceremony.
