Columbia Fire officials are investigating a fire that destroyed an apartment complex Sunday morning.

Crews were called to the scene at Walnut and College around 5 a.m.

As of Sunday afternoon the building was still smoldering.

Brookside Management is now trying to find a place for residents to live.

No word on a cause of the blaze.
