COLUMBIA -- A Columbia man will be spending the next six years behind bars.
On Monday Joseph Kreiser, 47, was sentenced to six years in prison by the Boone County Circuit Court for possessing child pornography.
Kreiser was arrested on June 10, 2011 after a lengthy investigation.
In February 2011 an investigator with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department Cyber Crimes Task force found a computer that was offering child pornography through a file sharing program.
The investigator traced it back to Kreiser’s trailer home in the 2900-block of Rangeline.
Authorities took several items during a search of the home.
During an examination of the items taken authorities found more than 60 images of Children.
