Three brave Missouri firefighters who lost their lives in 2011 were honored in a Memorial service earlier today.

The names Richard Paul, Les Clark and Henry Branscum are now on the line of duty monument wall which stands at the Firefighters Memorial in Kingdom City, Missouri.

This was the 10th annual firefighters memorial ceremony.

Department of Public Safety Director Jerry Lee read a proclamation from the Governor. May 20th was declared “Fire Service Memorial day” in Missouri so that we never forget those firefighters who died in the line of duty.

Richard Paul was of the Kansas City Fire Department; Les Clark of the Dixon Rural Fore Protection District; and Henry Branscum of Northwest R-4 Rural Fire Association.
